I have worked over 13 years as Registered Home Manager at Castltroy. I have a passion for working with the elderly. I enjoy my work immensely and work closely with the residents, their families, friends and the staff to ensure a happy and safe environment. I strongly believe in person centred approach in all aspects of the residents care. We have an open door policy at every level. I feel privileged to have such a great team behind me.

I have worked at Castletroy for the past 9 years. I am so passionate about ensuring that all the residents receive the very best care I and the staff can give.

I deal with all members of the multi-disciplinary team on a daily-basis to ensure that the best care is always available to each resident.

I feel that my work makes a huge difference in our residents lives for better. We try to understand our resident's needs better so that we can provide them the right and proper care. At Castletroy we believe in providing person centred care. We also give a huge importance to the feedbacks from the families and the friends.

I enjoy the variety of my job role, I deal with all aspects of the Home Administration. I would be most probably your first contact.  I am also responsible for staff administration. No day is same and its is great to work with such a fantastic team.

I also enjoy having time to engage with the residents and their families.

I enjoy producing a well balanced, homemade and nutritional meals for our residents on a daily basis. I am very enthusiastic about our varied menus which ensure that our residents always have a choices aimed at their personal preferences. I am an active member of the Resident's Food Forum Committee

Activity & Family Liaison Manager

I work with 2 other activity co-coordinators and together we provide various activities including manicure's, flower arranging, chair exercises, trips out and many more. We also access our local community weekly and I really enjoy fund raising for the residents. A major part of my role now is supporting the families of our dementia residents.
